Sammy Martin Bio

 

Samantha Nyadbi Martin, 41 Aboriginal woman and descendant from the Jaru and Kija people from the North East Kimberley region of Western Australia. Born in a small town called Wyndham, Samantha travelled around Australia and around the World delivering Aboriginal presentations for the Australian Embassy and producing documentaries for SBS, NITV (National Indigenous TV), ABC, Discovery Channel and National Geographic.

Samantha is an Author of the Bush Tukka Guide published by Hardie Grant in 2014 and Television Presenter for SBS/NITV and ABC for a TV show called ‘My Bush Tukka Adventures by Samantha Martin’.

Founder and Director of Tribal Voice Connections, Samantha, has developed a business that reflects the passion she has for her Indigenous heritage. Samantha also provides unique cultural services and consultancy to empower an understanding of cross cultural exchange and awareness for a more sustainable future.

Writing for 4WD Magazines, Cooking and Health Magazines, Samantha specializing in turning bush tukka into gourmet meals that will encourage anyone to want to introduce Bush Tukka into their kitchens. Samantha is passionate in preserving the knowledge and wisdom of hunting and gathering Bush Tukka
